I've been inspired by some rad designers lately, and some rad designs from unknown artists. It's great to finally come across the kind of stuff i dont see anywhere in my area, it's a pity gear like this image was probably created overseas.

I hope this can be inspirational for some of you peeps too.

Bit of an update on stuff

Finally got Habit Mag up and running, first issue is out and some images are here: HERE

Also a tee graphic i designed for New Zealand metal band In Dread Response has been printed, and i got mine the other day finally :)

New stuffs! yeeiiw

Habit Mag is being launched so very very soon. A side project which has been 6 months in the making, probably taking 2 months longer than it should've haha. We're having a joint launch party with local record label Bark Bang and the night is set to be sweeeet. It's all very exciting. I don't have any pictures to show yet, but the magazine will be 32 pages, colour front + back and B&W insides.

love of diagrams and other shit!!

So i stumbled upon this wikid Aussie band called Love Of Diagrams:


They're so cool, as in so cool i need to put on some pants cool. Aren't i glad i picked up an issue of DB Magazine this afternoon!

This was only supposed to be a quick post, so make sure you've read my previous one. Also my website has a funky new splash page, so check that shit out too. And i finally have CS2 on this Mac of mine so i should start on building some pages for my webby.

cool new shit n shit

Aaah my 2nd post, i hope this one's much better than the previous! Some things goin on for me right now; part-time at college which gives me more time on my own things and more time to spend on college work, so hopefully i'll do better than i have been!

On the design front, i was approached to design the tour poster for a UK electro/thrash/indie band called Hadouken! for their UK Tour. I'm fucken amped for this since I dig their music, and band posters is something i've been fascinated about since before i began designing!

I also have a wee bit of logo/branding to do, which is also quite exciting as i also enjoy that side of design. Oh and also, the teeo i designed for New Zealand metal band In Dread Response has been printed, could possibly be printed on hoodies too! werd

First entry

I finished a tee graphic for a local metal band and the drummer came to pick it up today! This is the 2nd graphic i've finished and sold to a band in the past month and a half, and i'm pretty happy with this.

On top of that i've been asked to go in for more work experience with Loud Whisper. That's going heaps good! And i've also got a splash page for my website up and running.

Pretty much stoked with everything at the moment.
